Bizcubation supports idea to early stage entrepreneurs in the northern region of Malawi through capacity building training, learning visits, expert coaching and mentorship, linkages to markets and funding. Those companies under the program come from a diverse background of Agriculture production, Processing, Supply chain management, media and ICT, fashion and designing, construction, water and sanitation, and renewable energy.
The program goal is to create jobs, improve standards of living, support partnership creation among entrepreneurs and facilitate investment readiness. This is measured through number of jobs created, number of partnerships created among start-ups, capital invested in the start-ups and linkages to markets.
Bizcubation portfolio companies benefit from determining the best business model and marketing strategy to commercialize their idea and measure the social impact, developing investor proposals for funding and developing significant contact network.
The program currently supports 30 young entrepreneurs to graduate in November 2021 and aims at supporting 100 entrepreneurs by November 2022. 10 investment ready startup enterprises will have access to seed financing amounting $5000.00 during the period.
